At "Nairi" Medical Center the chemotherapy service has been operating since 2012. It was founded by French-Armenian doctor Gevorg Abgaryan, who leads the service till today. Within the framework of the service, chemotherapy of malignant tumors is carried out with the newest methods using exclusively European-American treatment schemes and high - quality drugs. Doctors have been trained in Europe and have all the necessary international oncology skills.

Head of Service, PhD Leon Grigory Badalyan is one of the leading specialists in this field in the Republic of Armenia, a member of international oncology associations, participates in the annual key conferences.

The nursing staff of the service is also properly trained and has skills to work with the latest generation medication. 

The service is well equipped, it has all the necessary devices such as electronic infusion device, pumps which allow to carry out chemotherapy scheme with maximum accuracy. The latest generation Paxman scalp cooling is used to prevent hair loss.

During chemotherapy, special Portacath implant device catheters are used to avoid the possible complication of veins damage. The best conditions are created in the department to provide maximum comfort for the patients.
